He announced that the right to abortion and the protection of the environment be integrated into the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. He also defended the project of a New Order of Security and Stability and invited the European Union to resume a dialogue with Russia to find a solution to the crisis on the Ukrainian border. Although President Macron masters European Union issues, since his 2017 mandate, he has been very jostled by the French MEPs, some of whom are candidates for the 2022 Presidential election.

French Head of State Macron, president of EFPU, also proposed reforming the Schengen agreements to better support borders and slow down immigration.
The French Head of State, also, defended the fundamental principle of the European Union, the rule of law.
Although President Macron masters European Union issues, since his 2017 mandate, he has been very jostled by the French MEPs, some of whom are candidates for the 2022 Presidential election, such as Yannick Jadot, Jordan Bardella (President of the National Rally Party , Far right, by Marine Le Pen who is running for Presidency Election 2022). Indeed, all French MEPs, as soon as they spoke (and often exceeded their speaking time) were vehement in the face of Emmanuel Macron, as if it were a national arena, in him expressing their grievances, as if to force him to announce himself as an official candidate for the Presidency. They blamed him for his French balance sheet. Some consider that President Macron is taking advantage of the EFPU, to hold his presidential campaign without formalizing his candidacy….
WHAT TO REMEMBER FROM THE EUPF CALENDAR PROPOSED BY PRESIDENT MACRON DURING FPEU
1• INCLUDE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND ABORTION IN THE EU CHARTER OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
President Macron proposed, during his speech in Strasbourg, within the framework of the French Presidency of the European Union, that the right to abortion and the protection of the environment be integrated into the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, in a speech to MEPs on the objectives of the French Presidency of the EU. This is intended to take under the new President of Parliament, Roberta Metsola, opposed to abortion. (Elected by MPEs on Tuesday 18 January). PRES MACRON PROPOSES A "NEW SECURITY ORDER "IN EUROPE FACING RUSSIA-----------------------------------
Emmanuel Macron proposed to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, during the EUFP, "a new order of security against Russia" "These next few weeks should lead us to achieve a European proposal building a new order of security and stability. We must build it between Europeans, then share it with our allies within the framework of NATO, then then propose it to Russia for negotiation," he said, in a very tense context of talks between Russians, Ukrainians and Americans, to find a solution to the crisis between these two neighboring countries. The " Format Normandie" seems to be dying, faced with the Americans' takeover to negotiate directly with Vladimir Putin, since the two heads of state of the US and Russia met in mid-June 2021, in Geneva, in the presence, to defuse Ukraine-Russia tensions. At the time of publication, US Secretary Antony Blinken has spoken on the phone with Vladimir Putin and that he is traveling to Kiev, then Berlin….and this after a week (January 11-16, 2021) of flurry of discussions with NATO, OSCE, and Russia….while Josep Borell, the MFA of European Union, explains "not to have been invited to the negotiating table" and his French counterpart, Jean Yves Le Drian, who advocates the "Format Normandie" (Diplomatic planted Quadripartite including , France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine), at Gymnich in Brest. "I have been defending it for several years, it is not an option", he hammered, in the midst of tensions between Russia and the West, added the President of EUFP Macron.

The French President insisted on a new alliance with African countries in terms of investment, health or security, confirming that France would organize a summit in February aimed at rebuilding this partnership between Europe and Africa. He therefore announced the upcoming EU-Africa summit to be held in Brussels in 17-18 February.
President Macron also affirmed the need for the EU to rethink its relations with the countries of the Western Balkans, that it should restore to them sincere prospects of membership. "Europe can no longer turn away from the Western Balkans", he declared, adding that the EU "today has a vocation to (...) know how to rethink our relationship with (these) countries (...) and give them in a clearer, readable, proactive way, sincere prospects for membership". As for Brexit and the departure of the United Kingdom, which left the European Union, a year ago, President Macron advocates firmness with respect to the commitments on which the British agreed during Brexit: "Let's be firm and clear so that commitments are kept, this is the condition for being able to remain friends. »…/
